Summer Sessions in Oregon

A summer senior photo session is my favorite because Oregon is at its very best during the summer. The trees are green and full. The grass is green and there are often fields of flowing grasses to use too. The summers here are so beautiful and this makes for timeless images. When you see a summer photo, it makes sense all year long. If you choose to do a fall senior session, it’s very specific to a time period during the year as the leaves change.

Brooklynn’s Summer Senior Photo Session

During Brooklynn’s session, we had so much fun. She came prepared with several outfits to wear and she chose such great combinations. While we were in the middle of her session, her dad wandered off for a few minutes and then we saw smoke in the air. He had noticed it and went to see what was going on and it turned out to be a small fire. He called the fire department and then we watched them arrive and try to get to the fire. It was crazy! Oregon has been having more and more issues with fires in the recent years and so we were extra aware of this and were glad the fire department was able to get it under control quickly. I even made a reel about this session!
