Hi. I’m Heather. I’m a photographer, wife, mom, almost crazy cat lady, lover of all things chocolate and Chai enthusiast in Eugene, Oregon.

I live in the Eugene, Oregon area with my husband, two sweet babies and our two little kitties.

I’ve loved photography as long as I can remember, but for a long time I didn’t know how to do more than use a point and shoot camera. Photography has always been a passion for me, but I never thought to take a class to learn more. I always looked into careers that involved helping people which is why I ended up graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Family and Human Services. It hadn’t occurred to me that I could help people through photography.

After quitting my job as an after school supervisor to stay home with my sweet baby, I decided to take time to finally learn the art of digital photography. I started practicing on my favorite subject (my son) and got so excited about the idea that I could document his growing up years.

What makes my heart sing? It makes me so happy to give families the gift of reflection. I don’t know about you, but as I get older, I see how quickly time really does move. I absolutely love looking back at the newborn photos we have of both of our children. It almost transports me back to that time every single time I look at them.

You can find me drinking hot chocolate or an iced chai somewhere as I try to think of ways to help our broken world feel a little more whole again. 

I love to photograph people who:

 - want to remember the little moments that really matter the most
 - live a life filled with gratitude
