Why would you even think about getting graduation photos at all? Imagine this. You’ve completed all your course requirements for graduation. You have one fun spring class left, and then you’re done with your Bachelor’s degree. Remember how hard you worked for this moment. At this point in your college life, you barely even remember applying to attend this school, and now you’re about to walk across a stage and graduate from college. You worked hard to win all the scholarships you could and worked as many hours as possible to make up the difference. Maybe you’re graduating debt-free and maybe not, but either way, it’s worth it.
You made new friends and had the best times with them. These will be friends for life. These will be the memories you talk about for decades. Staying up late to study more times than you count is something you’ll never forget. You participated in group projects (some good, others not as good) and wrote so many essays (let’s not talk about how many essays). You volunteered, slept in, and stayed out late. In four years, you’ve learned and grown so much. You did it.

This is why graduation photos are so important. There will not be another time in your life like this. It is worth celebrating your accomplishments and remembering who you are in this time of your life. Things will change. No one likes to hear that. But things will never be like this again. The time to document is now. Always now.
Graduation photos in Eugene in the spring are so beautiful. Oregon shows off when the trees start to bloom again after a (long) (rainy) (cold) (foggy) winter. The green trees showcase Oregon’s beauty and provide a great backdrop to your graduation celebration, which is especially true if you’re from out of the area and are moving away. Oregon’s beauty is like no other place on Earth, especially at the historic University of Oregon campus. It’s a mix of history, modern architecture, and technology. There is truly nowhere else like it.

You can see examples of graduation sessions in Eugene here (this one is for someone who got her doctorate) and here (this one is for a graduate with a Bachelor’s degree).
Let’s talk about your University of Oregon graduation photos. I will explain my process for photographing graduating seniors, and I will send you my preparation guide for you to use to get ready for your session. Contact me here.
