Imagine this: You’re about to defend and then you’re done. You will have your PhD! You will have achieved your dreams after YEARS of hard work! Can you picture it? University of Oregon doctorate graduation photos are a great way to remember this amazing accomplishment!
Life has taught me an important lesson over the years. Celebrate everything. Did you graduate with your undergraduate degree? Celebrate. Did you get your Master’s degree? Celebrate. Did you get your doctorate? Celebrate. Is it Tuesday? Celebrate. Did you get to have the best dinner of your life? C-e-l-e-b-r-a-t-e.
One of the best ways to celebrate such an accomplishment is to have a photo session so you can remember it all. If you attend your graduation ceremony (please do), it’s harder to get all the photos you want of the day. Having your own session gives you the time to reflect on your university experience and have photos of you by important places on campus. People love photos by the Oregon O at Lillis on the Universty of Oregon campus and photos by the O at Autzen Stadium. People also like to be in the places they attended classes and worked hard to achieve their dreams. Overall, University of Oregon doctorate graduation photos that show you in your graduation attire in the place you accomplished it all are a way to preserve wonderful memories.
This wonderful doctoral graduate is someone I had the privilege of photographing throughout her time in Eugene. She signed for various photo sessions I offered in different seasons. When she asked me for a graduation photo session, I was so excited. It is such an honor to preserve memories of important life events. During this session, we had such a funny thing happen. A group of freshmen boys walked by and were whispering (loudly) about what kind of degree she must be getting. The graduation attire for a doctoral student is different, so I am assuming they weren’t sure based on that. I told them she was getting her doctorate and they cheered and then one of them said something like, “And I just started my freshmen year!”
