In Oregon, we endure months and months of winter rain to finally enjoy the spring blossoms and beautiful green trees in the springtime. When the blossoms arrive around the time the sun sticks around more, we feel like we live in the most beautiful place in the world—because we do. Oregon is unmatched in beauty from season to season. Hendrick’s Park in Eugene is Eugene’s oldest park and is stunning in the spring. The rhodendron garden is breathtaking, and there are many paths and trails to walk to enjoy the pretty views. I always recommend spring in Oregon for family photos and a family photo session in Eugene during the spring is always a good idea. It’s a combination of pretty scenery, good temperatures, and happy feelings after making it through another wet winter in the Pacific Northwest.
“Spring will come and so will happiness. Hold on. Life will get warmer.”
Anita Krizzan
Spring photo sessions in Eugene are full of life and feel hopeful. The new blossoms covering the bare-limbed trees of winter are beautiful and colorful. Watching this transformation is one of the best parts of living in the Eugene area. We are lucky to have evergreen trees in winter, but there are still so many trees without color. When spring comes, that all changes.
What’s your favorite thing about living in Eugene? It’s important to me that the photos you get from me are authentic to who you are as a family. If there is a location you love, we want to use it. I want your memories of your family in this season of time to be special and doing a photo session at a favorite location is one way to add to that. Maybe you love walking to the river as a family. There are plenty of beautiful spots near the McKenzie River or Willamette River (aren’t we so lucky to have two!). Do you enjoy going to a certain park together? Let’s go there! Do you love magnolias? I even have a location full of them.
