Family Photo Locations in Eugene, Oregon

I have lived in Oregon my whole life and as a photographer, I know about so many different photo locations in Eugene (and around) for family photos and help families find the best spots for their photo sessions. I’ve spent so many hours driving around scouting locations to find the best possible places for family photos. Oregon is so beautiful and we are lucky to have so many amazing spots, so it can feel hard to narrow it down to the best location for your family session. Parks in Eugene

Oregon is lucky to have so many beautiful parks to choose from—including local and state parks. Family sessions are lovely in Eugene parks because they are walking distance from parking and each park has beautiful elements that we can include in your family photo session. Parks are also wonderful as they tend to be landscaped and maintained well, but still full of the beauty of nature.

Rivers in Eugene

Oregon is blessed with many different kinds of water including rivers and lakes. Any time you can add a water feature in the background of your Eugene family photos, it is a great idea. Some of the parks I like also have spots with water which can make one location seem like multiple locations, which is always a plus.

Oregon Destination Photos

One of my favorite things about this area is that you can drive an hour to get to the beach or an hour and a half to get to the mountains. There are deserts around along with forests and a lot of really beautiful landmarks. Family photos can be really wonderful in places that are meaningful to the family. Do you love going to the beach? Photos at the Oregon Coast can be magical. Does your family visit central Oregon every summer? Maybe photos at a spot you love in the mountains would be more meaningful for your family.
